Upcoming Telugu actress Pujita Ponnada has garnered immense fame, with only just a handful of films to her name. Known for her prominent roles in films like Darsakudu, Brand Babu and Rangasthalam, the actress feels fortunate for the opportunities that have come her way. While there is a high demand for having Telugu girls in the Telugu film industry, Pujita says, “The directors of all the films I have done so far were looking out only for Telugu girls. So I’m pleased with my journey so far.”
While she slowly proved her mettle with each film, her forthcoming film, 7 (directed by Nizar Shafi), is something she’s gung-ho about. “There’s a great deal of suspense that surrounds my role. The plot revolves around different love stories all of which will be justified in the end,” she says.
Her next film is Kalki in which she plays the role of a tribal girl.
