Shooting a few important scenes for Sye Raa has gotten Chiranjeevi in the mood for action. The megastar is preparing for an extended action sequence that will be shot at a set erected near Kokapet in Hyderabad.
“It’s a 45-day schedule and Chiranjeevi is preparing for an action episode. There will be night shifts for a few weeks and the unit members are surprised by Chiranjeevi’s stamina,” a source reveals, adding that the action scenes will also feature actor Brahmaji.
Directed by Surender Reddy, the film is being shot at a brisk pace as Chiru wants to complete it at the earliest. “This time, they are not using horses. The action episodes involve guns and other weapons,” the source says.
The soon-to-be-shot episode shows Narasimha Reddy, played by Chiranjeevi, attacking British soldiers by night. The makers initially wanted to shoot the episode outside India, but they changed their minds when they found a suitable spot near Kokapet. The crew will begin shooting there next week.
