The role in Gopichand-starrer Gautam Nanda is in complete contrast to her role in Sarrainodu.

After the success of Sarrainodu, actress Catherine Tresa is not in a hurry to sign new films. Though she was approached for many projects, she signed on only two films — one of which is opposite Gopichand in Gautam Nanda.
“She is playing a modern girl and it’s a performance-oriented role. It’s a contrasting character when compared to Sarrainodu where she played an MLA” says a unit source.
The film’s shooting is almost complete, except for two songs. Directed by Sampath Nandi, Gopichand is playing a dual role in the action-drama while Hansika will be playing the other leading lady.
