Nagarjuna and his team are all set to leave for Portugal for the shooting of Manmadhudu 2. “It’s not a sequel, we’re only using the name of the romantic drama,” explains Nagarjuna. Rakul Preet Singh is going to be playing the female lead role in the film.
Why Portugal? “This film is all about the people from the fourth generation who have settled in Portugal, which is why we’re shooting there,” says Nagarjuna.
The Soggade Chinni Nayana star also added that the film is going to be an entertaining ride for the audience. “Like the previous one, this one, too, is going to be hilarious. My scenes with Vennela Kishore have been written quite well and the film is definitely going to be a feast for the audience,” he said.
Nagarjuna also has faith in the director Rahul Ravindran’s (Chi La Sow fame) capabilities. “He is super talented and has been doing his job quite well,” he said. Nagarjuna also gave us an update about his other film, Bangarraju. “The story is in its final stages and the script is looking good. Once complete, I will join the film on the floors soon,” he concluded.
