A couple of days back, producer Venkat announced that he is coming up with Dandupalyam 4, a third sequel to the hit film by the same name. He also announced that he is roping in many actors from the earlier three films and even released a poster of his new film with the actors’ faces on it.
However, the actors who were in the first three films have rubbished his claims and given a statement that they are not doing the sequel.
“Much to my surprise, I came to know from the media that I was roped in for Dandupalyam 4. I was never approached for this film nor did I sign up for it. I don’t know how they used my picture for the first look of the film,” says Pooja Gandhi, who played a key role in all the three earlier films.
Even Ravi Kale and Makarand Deshpande sent video bytes saying that they are not doing this film. It is now up to Venkat to clarify his controversial announcement.
