After several continuous hit films, actor Nani has hiked his remuneration. According to a source, he has now doubled his asking price. “There is a big jump in Nani’s remuneration and he is now charging Rs 9 crore. With this, he ranks next to the A-list actors,” says a source, adding that the actor is almost on par with Ravi Teja’s remuneration now.
Recently, many of Nani’s films collected big revenues at the box-office. Even the actor was surprised when his latest film MCA: Middle Class Abbayi collected Rs 50 crore gross worldwide. It seems he didn’t have too many hopes from this film as he told his friends that the second half was weak, but to his surprise, it became a big grosser.
“Nani is the only actor in the present generation who is coming up with three to four films a year and now. The actor feels that since he is in demand, he deserves that much remuneration,” adds the source.
