Dandupalyam 4 producer Venkat to approach the tribunal

The Censor Board refused to give the certificate to his forthcoming crime-thriller, Dandupalyam 4.

The producer of Dandupalyam 4, Venkat, is eyeing a March release. However, the Censor Board refused to give a certificate to the crime-thriller.

On Saturday, the producer said that he plans to apply for the Revising Committee (RC) and also to the tribunal for the certificates.

“I don’t know why the Censor has objection. Generally they ask us to cut a scene or mute some dialogues or cut the length of a scene. But this time they just rejected the movie,” he says. Venkat, who was in the city to promote the film, now plans to release the movie in March.

He informs, “The officer told me that if I agree to cut a few scenes, they might pass the film. Otherwise, they refuse to give the certificate. I applied for a Censor certificate last November and I spoke to few officials too. Now, I will go to the RC or tribunal, and release the film accordingly.”

Directed by Nayak, Suman Ranganath will be seen playing the lead role in the movie.

The story of the film is inspired by a few real-life incidents.
