Kajal Aggarwal, who has been signing Telugu films thick and fast, has signed her next. While she’s fast wrapping up the shooting of Kalyan Ram’s MLA, the latest we hear is that the actress will play the leading lady in Bellamkonda Srinivas’ next film.
“Kajal was approached for the female lead in the action-drama to be helmed by director Nani. He was keen to cast her because of the span the character has. When he narrated the script to her, the Nene Raju Nene Mantri star found her role to be interesting. The remaining modalities are being worked out,” informs a source.

The filmmakers believe the fresh pairing will definitely create a stir among the audience and spark their curiosity levels. While the director is currently giving finishing touches to the script, the project is likely to go on floors in March.
