Revathy to direct Tamil, Telugu remake of Queen
Thyagarajan who has bought the remake rights of Queen confirmed actress Revathy is directing.
In 2014, Kangana Ranaut had a big hit with Queen, which also won her the National Award for best actress.
The latest we hear is that veteran actor-filmmaker Revathy will helm the yet-to-be titled Tamil and Telugu remake of the critically-acclaimed film.
Speaking to DC Producer Thyagarajan who has bought the remake rights of Queen confirmed actress Revathy is directing the South remakes of the movie. He also said yet another national award winner Suhasini is working on the dialogues.
“Since the movie is shot in London, Paris, Amsterdam and Germany, we are planning to start the shoot during the end of March, when the weather conditions are favourable.”
On the lead heroine of the female centric script he said, “We are yet to finalise. Revathy and Suhasini are doing few changes to the script. Once it is done we will zero in one of them we have on our list".
Asked if Prashath will be part of it, he says, “It is a small role and with negative shades.”
