Mahesh Babu dislikes to woo Hindi viewers with dubbed fare ?

Mahesh Babu intends to reach out Hindi film viewers with a straight Hindi film

It looks like superstar Mahesh Babu has a different game plan for Hindi film viewers. Although upcoming Sankranthi releases like ‘Hanu-Man’ and ‘Eagle’ would be simultaneously released across India, the much-hyped ‘Guntur Kaaram’ will be released after 90 days. “Mahesh Babu doesn’t want to woo Hindi film viewers by dubbing his films in Hindi despite having a massive fan following among non-Telugu viewers,” says a source and adds, “Hence, ‘Guntur Kaaram’ will not be released on January 12 in north Indian states, but only after 80 to 90 days after its release in Telugu,” he adds

The heady combination of Mahesh Babu and director Trivikram Srinivas has reportedly fetched Rs 25 crores for Hindi dubbing rights. “Actually, Mahesh Babu has surpassed his own films and few of his rivals with this record price," the source points out and adds, “Mahesh Babu movies are most watched by Hindi-speaking viewers. His charming looks, romance, and action episodes are lapped up by Hindi viewers in a big way," he adds.

His earlier movies like ‘Maharshi’ ‘Sarkarivaari Paata’ and ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ were traded anywhere between Rs 16 to 21 crores, but the combination of Mahesh-Trivikram seems to have fetched ace Telugu producer S Radhakrishna a fancy sum. "This film will be released in a good number of theatres after three months," he concludes.

With Mahesh Babu’s ratings soaring among pan-India viewers, his much-hyped debut in Hindi with ace director S S Rajamouli’s action adventure is bound to give him a much-needed break in Bollywood and expand his horizons beyond the south.
