I take everything in my stride: Bellamkonda Sreenivas
Just four years in the industry and three films old, Bellamkonda Sreenivas seems to have had it quite easy, having already worked with directors like V.V. Vinayak and Boyapati Srinu.
Accepting the same, the actor says, “Yes, I am privileged. I got a good launch and several good opportunities. But I do not want anyone to discount the amount of hard work I have put in. Not everyone who gets an opportunity goes far. If directors are willing to work with me, it’s probably because I have managed to move past the challenges in a bid to be accepted.”
Interestingly, Sreenivas has had to face an equal number of detractors too. However, the 25-year-old says he’s never bogged down by negativity nor affected by praise. “I take everything in my stride. Criticism is always important to grow. While I do not take it seriously, if I find it can do me good, I will pay heed,” he reasons.
Meanwhile, the actor is busy working on Saakshyam with director Sriwass, in which he plays a video game designer. “It’s a concept-oriented film and I am playing a character close to my age.”
So, would there be no star heroine’s dance number either, as is generally seen in his films? “No! People keep asking that all the time, but we decided not to even consider it this time, especially since we don’t need it in the film,” he says, signing off.
