Producer Dil Raju is targetting Rs 100 crore in the New Year. According to a source, the producer is trying hard to reach the target and has already announced a number of big and small film projects.
His next project, a small film titled Sathamanam Bhavathi is all set to release during the coming Sankranthi festival, while the bigger one Duvvada Jagannadham is going to hit the screens in May. Another film Fidha, directed by Sekhar Kammula is also under production.
Nenu Local with Nani has already been completed and will hit the screens in February. Yet another film with Ravi Teja and Anil Ravipudi will be released during the second part of the year.
The producer has bought the Telugu rights of Mani Ratnam’s Duet and a couple of other films are also in the pipeline. “With these four films, the producer may earn nearly Rs 70 crore. He is targetting another Rs 30 to 40 crore,” says a source close to Dil Raju.
