Post the success of Taxiwala, the film’s leading lady Priyanka Jawalkar has become the talking point. The Telugu girl, who hails from Anantpur, has been in the thick of action with several offers coming her way. We have now learnt that Priyanka has been in contention for one of the leading ladies in Ravi Teja’s forthcoming film to be directed by Vi Anand.
The film already has Payal Rajput and Nabha Natesh playing the leading ladies, but director Anand felt that Priyanka’s cute looks and her performance would be a perfect blend and bring balance into the script.
Recently, the director met Priyanka for a narration. The actress reportedly liked the script and her part and expressed happiness to be part of the film. However, she is yet to sign on the dotted line. According to a source, Priyanka Jawalkar was offered the role after the filmmakers saw her performance in Taxiwala. “Since they are on the lookout for a new actress, they felt Priyanka would fit into the role of one of the leading ladies,” the source added.
