Hariprriya: Flaunting her naughty side
Hariprriya, who is staging a comeback into Tollywood with Jai Simha starring Balakrishna, says her role gives her an opportunity to flaunt her new side. “It is notorious and the audience will love the naughty side of me. For the first time, I am doing an attitude-based role. I'm a director’s artiste and every film and role is giving me an opportunity to be different,” she reveals.
She describes the film’s director K.S. Ravi Kumar as an actor himself. “He enacts the scenes and tells us what he actually wants. He even performs the moves for the songs and tells us the exact expression according to the lyrics. It makes our job easy,” she says.
Ask her what makes Balakrishna a superstar and she replies, “His dedication. He doesn’t have any qualms in rehearsing. He is very knowledgeable and has great command over literature.” She adds, “We discussed a lot about spirituality too. I told him that my mom is a great fan of NTR, while my dad has a huge collection of NTR’s films. I also tasted the famous bamboo chicken in Araku when we shot there. It was very yummy.”
