After Samantha in Rangsthalam, Rashmika in Pushpa, actress Janhvi Kapoor takes on the role of a village belle in her debut Telugu film Devara opposite superstar Jr NTR.
The glam actress shared her picture on social media and said that her character’s name is Thangam in the film. “Her rustic look in a half saree with a radiant smile has generated a lot of interest,” says a source, who claims that the daughter of the late actress Sridevi is known for glamorous and ultra-modern looks in Bollywood films.
“She is playing the love interest of NTR in this rural action saga, and her character should also match him, so she is donning a girl-next-door avatar. She is doing a film opposite a superstar, and the film is bound to get pan-India popularity, considering her brand equity,” he adds.
