The iconic actor received a substantial Rs 100 crore as his acting fee for portraying the character of Muthuvel Pandian in the film. Additionally, he was entitled to a share of the film's profits amounting to Rs. 110 crore. Kalanithi Maran, the producer of Jailer and chairman of Sun Group, generously shared a portion of the film's profits with Rajinikanth.

A selection of car models was offered to the esteemed actor, and he chose the BMW X7.
