The actor is going to star in a love story called Tholi Prema, a name borrowed from his uncle's old film.

The film Tholi Prema, which released nearly 20 years ago, is a milestone in Pawan Kalyan’s career. While it did define his own stance as an actor, it also catapulted him to a different league of actors. And it seems his nephew Varun Tej is taking a page out of his uncle’s book. Varun’s upcoming film with debut director Venky Atluri is all set to have the same title again!
A source in the know reveals, “Since the film has a love story, the makers thought of several titles. After a lot of consideration, they zeroed in on Tholi Prema as it has a good ring to it, and will also lend to a bit of nostalgia. The makers have registered the title too.”
