An upcoming actress had filed complaints against the duo on August 15 alleging that they tried to abuse her in a moving car.

Vijayawada: “We did not assaulted the actress, she is blaming us to demand money,” says upcoming actor Srujan who was arrested in a sexual assault case filed by an upcoming actress. Both the actor and director Chalapathi were released from Vijayawada sub jail on Friday after Vijayawada court granted them bail. An upcoming actress had filed complaints against the duo on August 15 alleging that they tried to abuse her in a moving car.
Jayaraj, advocate of Srujan, said the woman who made false allegations in the complaint to Vijayawada police. They have arrested wrong person and should come out now and answer us. She wanted to demand money from my clients by blackmailing them, he said.
