After Kalki, filmmaker Prasanth Varma is likely to direct Akhil Akkineni in his next film. Word is that Prasanth met Akhil some time ago and that both of them have been discussing scripts, with the actor showing particular fascination towards an interesting love story.
Apparently, Akhil has already green-lit the script and asked Prasanth to develop a comprehensive narrative. Without losing any time, the director is currently on the verge of putting finishing touches to the script while Niranjan Reddy of Matinee Entertainments will be bankrolling the project.
A source informs, “While Prasanth was supposed to direct Kajal Aggarwal for a female-centric film, there is a possibility that he might do both Akhil and Kajal’s films simultaneously.
Meanwhile, it remains to be seen whether Akhil will do Prasanth’s film after he wraps up Bommarillu Bhaskar’s film or works on both films simultaneously.
