The actress has been roped in for a special song in Nakshatram director Krishna Vamsi's next.

Days after the unit of Nakshatram announced that a top actress would be featuring in a special number in the film, we have learnt that actress Shriya Saran has been chosen. Apparently, the actress was approached for the item song in the action-drama and was impressed with the song’s concept and peppy tune. The Gopala Gopala actress instantly agreed be a part of it.
A source close to the unit reveals, “Director Krishna Vamsi was considering an actress who can dance well and at the same time be expressive. Shriya felt like the perfect name and hence was roped in.”Shriya, who is currently shooting for Balakrishna’s untitled film, will join the sets soon.
