There’s going to be a big box-office war next Pongal with two senior actors fighting it out with two landmark films. Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna, who recently launched their 150th and 100th films respectively, will face off early next year. Chiranjeevi’s film is directed by V.V. Vinayak while Balakrishna’s Gautamiputra Sathakarni is directed by Krish.
Balakrishna’s film is a historical one, based on a true story while Chiru’s is the remake of the Tamil hit Kaththi. Ram Charan is producing his father’s film.
Interestingly, Chiranjeevi attended the launch of Balakrishna’s film and wished him all the success. Both the actors are active in politics, as one is an MLA and the other an MP.
