Lavanya Tripathi has been in the industry for around six years, and she has already carved a niche for herself with interesting roles. The actress states that her journey in showbiz has been satisfying.
“The learning curve has been such that I discovered myself in this process. Earlier, I could hardly socialise with anyone and was a bit reserved, but I have transformed over time and discovered the real me. My fashion quotient has also gone up, but when I am home, I am happy being my daddy’s daughter,” she shares. Although the Uttarakhand-born is perceived as the girl-next-door, she has a different take.
“I don’t want to have that ‘girl-next-door’ tag every time, and I don’t think any girl wants that forever,” she says with a smile. She adds, “Perhaps people think like that because of the roles I am playing, but the girl-next-door can be anything — hot, gorgeous, glamorous, etc., and I’m a mix of everything. As an actress, I would like to do anything for the character as far as it’s convincing and makes sense.”
