The biopic on NTR is releasing in two parts and the producers will benefit because of it. The first part is releasing on January 9 and the second part in the first week of February. A top digital channel has bought the digital rights of part one for a whopping Rs 25 crore which is huge in recent times. As a result, Balakrishna has achieved something bigger than Chiranjeevi as the latter’s Sye Raa was sold for Rs 20 crore.
Interestingly, both the actors are doing biopics, Chiranjeevi’s Sye Raa is about the freedom fighter Narasimha Reddy from Kurnool. Both are period dramas. The makers of the NTR biopic are cleverly releasing the film in two parts and definitely it works out better for them. They are also selling both parts separately for digital and satellite rights for which they will get huge money and can recover most of the budget. The theatrical rights are also getting good business and the makers can earn good profits.
Krish has directed the film and he has already released so many looks from the film that it has generated curiosity among the audience.
