Actor Vishnu Manchu, who’s mostly been seen in suave and glamorous roles in the recent past seems to have taken a demure turn for his next, Gayatri. The actor, who has a key role in the film, which also stars his father Mohan Babu as the lead, will be playing a common man sans any brouhaha.
“He plays a simpleton, a romantic guy in love with his wife. The role was structured in a way to suit Vishnu’s personality and the people who have seen the rushes feel he has done a good job with it,” shares a unit member. Vishnu apparently went all out to get the look right for the film.
Meanwhile, the actor is also working on his upcoming films Achari America Yatra and Voter.
