Renowned actor Mohanlal, famous for his distinctive slanted shoulder, made waves on Wednesday as he snapped a selfie at the Keraleeyam 2023 event. This grand occasion, hosted by the Kerala Government, aims to showcase the state's progress, achievements, and rich cultural heritage to a global audience. Mohanlal's selfie, capturing the moment, quickly went viral, featuring other distinguished figures such as Kamal Haasan, Mammootty, Shobhana, and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
The event's inauguration saw Chief Minister Vijayan illuminating a traditional lamp in the presence of esteemed guests and cabinet ministers.
Over the course of a seven-day extravaganza, the Kerala festival will unfold across 42 venues, featuring 25 seminars dedicated to exploring the future of Kerala. More than 200 prominent individuals, both local and international, are set to participate. The evenings will come alive with the presence of over 4,100 artists performing at 30 different venues, showcasing the rich cultural tapestry of the state.
In addition to these cultural presentations, Keraleeyam 2023 promises a diverse array of attractions, including exhibitions, trade fairs, food festivals, film screenings, and much more.
