Varun Tej, who was shooting for his film Mister, directed by Srinu Vaitla, had a minor injury while performing an action scene.
The mishap occured in Ooty on Friday and he was immediately rushed to the local hospital from where he was discharged immediately.
“I have fractured my leg but I am doing fine,” confirms Varun Tej. He says that it was the last day of the shoot and he was trying to finish it and get back to Hyderabad. “It is a minor injury and he wishes to go on with the shooting soon,” says one of the producers, Tagore Madhu. He added that the shooting has not been postponed as Saturday is the last day of the schedule in Ooty. “The team is coming back to Hyderabad on Saturday night and a fresh schedule will start from the second week of October,” says Madhu.
The actor injured his leg, but wanted to continue shooting. “He is returning with the unit on Saturday night as usual and will take ample rest”, says a source from the unit.
