Vijay Deverakonda, was recently at a promotional event for his upcoming film Kushi where the actor was seen posing for pictures with his fans. In a video being shared online, it appears that as one of Vijay’s fans was posing with him, the actor’s security team came and pushed the fan away. Vijay was taken aback as it happened but within seconds, another fan walked up to him and he then started posing with her. The fan was pushed away in a violent fashion and it is not obvious from the video why the security team acted in this way to push the fan away from the stage.
Vijay is now looking forward to the release of Kushi, which also stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Since Samantha has been on a break for health reasons, Vijay has been on a solo promotional tour to promote his film.

Talking about working with Samantha on Kushi, Vijay said that he has always admired her as an actor and told media, “I used to be a fan of Samantha, and I’ve always admired her as an actor. From there to creating a film together, it was an amazing experience. We know what she went through during the shoot. She has been a solid partner throughout this journey, and I’ve grown really fond of her as a person too.”
The actor was last seen in the 2022 pan-Indian release Liger, which bombed terribly at the box office. In a recent interview, Vijay said that the film was strong on a script level but failed during the execution. “I know people won’t accept this statement, but honestly, I believe every script that I’ve chosen was terrific.
It was the execution that didn’t go as planned. For instance, an inside joke between friends wouldn’t translate well to others if the delivery and timing weren’t on point. That’s exactly what happened with films like Liger, NOTA, and even Dear Comrade,” he told media.
