Filmmaker Harish Shankar is working hard to promote his forthcoming film, Valmiki. After recently revealing the first look of actress Pooja Hegde from the film, he’s now decided to remix a famous song, Elluvachi Godaramma Vellakila Paddadammo, from the 1982-Telugu super-hit film, Devatha.
The duet is currently being shot on the banks of Godavari River at Rajahmundry.
Harish, who’s apparently a big fan of Sridevi, will remix the super hit song in the film on the principal casts, Pooja Hegde and Varun Tej. He felt that remixing the iconic number would be apt for Valmiki as the film has a rustic backdrop.
“The modern version of Elluvachi Godaramma Vellakila Paddadammo, the iconic song was originally shot on Sridevi and Sobhan Babu, will be one of the major highlights of the film,” a source close to the unit tells us.
