Jaguar, the debut film of Nikhil Kumar, son of former Karnataka chief minister H.D. Kumaraswamy, is touted to be one of the biggest movies of a debutante. Dreaming to make it a memorable launch, the producer-turned-politician has done everything in all grandeur.
Now, he has roped in top actress Tamannaah for a special song by paying over Rs 50 lakhs, say sources. The budget of the Telugu-Kannada bilingual is already estimated at Rs 75 crore and the shooting is currently under way in Hyderabad. Nikhil has recently completed some stunt scenes, and the movie is directed by Mahadev, who has earlier worked with Rajamouli.
Rajamouli’s father, K.V. Vijayendra Prasad, has provided the story for the high-budget film. Deepti Sati plays the female lead. The addition of Tamannaah to the cast is a boost to the film.
