At loss with the Bigg Boss
Nagarjuna, who hosts Big Boss 3, doesn’t look very impressive even with his weekend act. We admit the first episode was good, but the actor’s interaction with the contestants simply lacks the spice we seek. He’ll take a few more episodes to get into the groove of it, we think.
Interestingly, Nagarjuna has been quite vocal about his dislike of the concept of Big Boss. While the house shifted from Mumbai to his Annapurna Studios in the third season, Nagarjuna even stated that he didn’t want to go to see the house because he didn’t like watching what other people did.
Then he agreed to host the show, which brought on the troll party out on social media, claiming he was doing the show only for the money in it.
But the show’s production team made hay when sun shone, and used his ‘dislike’ to spin their promotional videos. “I don’t like the show; I have to see it why I don’t like it,” one of the video has him saying.
Fans might remember that the show had worked wonderfully for Jr NTR and Nani, even adding to ticket sales of their respective films. Now, Nagarjuna has a film releasing on August 9, and it would be interesting to watch if Bigg Boss will be a blessing for his film or a big minus.
