In their forthcoming film, Bangaru Bullodu, Allari Naresh and Pooja Jhaveri will be seen grooving to the remix of Balakrishna’s super hit number, Swathilo Muthyamantha.
This rain song was originally shot on Nandamuri Balakrishna and Raveena Tandon in the 1993-film Bangaru Bullodu. As Allari Naresh’s film also has the same title, the filmmakers felt that a remix song will elevate the film’s mood and draw the attention of the galleries. “It was my idea to remix Balakrishna’s super hit song, Swathilo Muthyamantha. In fact, we first sought Balakrishna garu’s permission to title our film the same as Bangaru Bullodu. We’ve enjoyed all of Balakrishna garu’s super hit songs while growing up, so we wanted to give those numbers a different spin,” explains producer Anil Sunkara, who adds that the soothing number was shot in a newly constructed set in Hyderabad.
