Character-actor Banerjee, who’s landed an important role in Dhandupalyam 4, will soon be seen playing the leader of a gang.
Talking about the film, he says, “I have played different characters over the last few decades, but the role in Dhandupalyam 4 is definitely good for my career. I play a gang leader who is making a plan to break his gang members out of jail.”
The actor has completed part of the shooting.
“There are realistic scenes of the gang committing violent acts. Everything is shown in a natural way,” he says, adding that clashes between police and the gang make the film more thrilling. Actress Suman Ranganath plays the leader of a female gang.
“Director K.T. Nayak has great command over the story, so he captured all these scenes in an interesting manner,” Banerjee says.
Producer Venkat plans to release the film in five languages — Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi.
