Though Rukshar Dhillon’s past Telugu films have not fared too well, the actress’ performances have always been appreciated. We hear that she has been roped in for the female lead role in Allu Sirish’s next film, ABCD (American-Born Confused Desi).
The filmmakers, while weighing various options for the part, were apparently impressed by her performance in Krishnarjuna Yudham. Reports suggest that the actress was elated to come on board.
“Rukshar has been finalised as the leading lady. The film’s director Sanjeev was impressed with the actress’ performance in her earlier film,” a source says.
ABCD, which will go to floors soon, is a remake of a Malayalam comedy film with the same name. The makers are trying to tweak the script to suit local sensibilities. The project is being bankrolled by Madhura Sridhar.
