Lavanya Tripathi gets adventurous
Taking a much-needed break, Lavanya Tripathi, who resumed shooting last year for two films which released recently, jetted off to Rishikesh for a four-day vacation.
Actress Niharika Konidela and her husband Chaitanya were among those who were part of the trip. “It was actually Niharika’s idea, and when she tossed it to me, I was excited and immediately said OK,” shares Lavanya.
“Since I was at Dehradun, I thought it would be a great way to chill out and catch up with my friends,” she adds. Rishikesh is a famous rafting destination, and the actress tried her hand at the water sport. She travelled 21 kms from Marine Drive to Rishikesh.
“Although I love water sports, rafting was something I haven’t done in a long time. So rafting with my friends was fun, and at the same time, challenging.
Rafting for 21 kms was difficult, so hands and wrists were paining a bit,” she shares, adding that the Himalayan mountain ranges were a breath-taking sight. “The kind of tranquillity I get while experiencing nature at its best is truly inspiring,” she shares.
The actress also took the opportunity to do some trekking. “We had a great time; the bonfire during one of our night stays was especially fun. This break was very rejuvenating,” Lavanya signs off.
