Priya Prakash Varrier, whose ‘wink act’ took the country by storm recently has been noted by all filmmakers. While her Malayalam debut Oru Adaar Love is yet to hit the theatres, she has been approached by Bollywood production houses. Closer home too, efforts to bring her to Tollywood are in full swing.
Apparently, the producers of VKA Films, which recently made Ego, say that they have been in talks with Priya for quite some time to cast her in the Telugu version of the Malayalam film. Whether the filmmakers have met the actress or not is yet to be known, although the talks are heading in a positive way.
Also, it would be interesting to see whether the filmmakers will come up with a fresh story.
An official (from the production house) who doesn’t wish to reveal much, adds, “All we can say is we are in talks with her and the Malayalam director Omar Lulu.”
Will she, won’t she? Time will tell!
