Jagapathi Babu goes solo for Patel SIR

The actor has donned a whole new look to play the lead role in the upcoming film.

After turning a character artiste, actor Jagapathi Babu is much in demand, for the edge he brings to his characters and also because of his stylish makeover. Now, after a gap, the actor is all set to play the lead role in an upcoming film. Titled Patel S.I.R, the film will be directed by Vasu Parimi, and was recently announced by Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram banner.

“The film has got a very gripping script, which was the reason Jagapathi okayed it instantly. He’s on a high now and wouldn’t want to associate with films that may not work. He chose to believe in the well-known banner,” shares a source.

 

The actor is seen in a complete new look with thick white hair, a handlebar moustache and a full beard. The film was launched recently with M.M. Keeravani, S.S. Rajamouli and Kalyan Koduri in attendance; a teaser has also been released.
