There have been many instances of social media “murder”, where fake messages about celebrities’ deaths are circulated. The latest on the list is Tollywood director Dasari Narayana Rao.
After receiving several phone calls from concerned family members and friends, who saw the message about his death on social media, Dasari Narayana Rao decided to take action.
The director approached the Jubilee Hills police station with a complaint. He wanted a case registered against the miscreants and stated that he was alive.
Confirming the above news, A. Venkateshwara Rao, DCP (West Zone), said, “Yes, he approached us with the complaint. Somebody has been circulating a message that he was dead. After the director got the necessary permissions, we filed a complaint. The investigation is on and we are looking into the matter.”
