Tiger Shroff, Janhvi Kapoor to Star in Dharma’s Revenge Romance Lag Jaa Gale

Bollywood actors Tiger Shroff and Janhvi Kapoor are set to share the screen for the first time in the upcoming film Lag Jaa Gale. The film, described as a revenge-action love story, will be directed by Raj Mehta and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.

According to reports, the film is currently in the pre-production stage and will begin shooting in December 2025.

A source close to the project revealed, “Since Lag Jaa Gale is set to roll out this December, I hope this new ‘Nepo Kid’ jodi raises the temperature on the silver screen and proves to be successful for Dharma Productions, a house known for launching star kids.”

The film is expected to hit theatres in the second half of 2026. The source added that there are high hopes the film will bring success and smiles to the production house.

Tiger Shroff’s most recent release, Baaghi 4, underperformed at the box office and received poor critical response. Similarly, Janhvi Kapoor's latest film, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, released just last week, and has not garnered favorable reviews. However, box office results are still pending as the weekend collections are yet to come.

Despite the actors' recent setbacks, industry insiders are optimistic about Lag Jaa Gale. The film promises a blend of intense drama and thrilling action, featuring Tiger’s signature martial arts and Janhvi’s dramatic range. With Raj Mehta, known for hits like Good Newwz and Jugjugg Jeeyo, directing the project, and Karan Johar's production backing it, the film aims to deliver a compelling cinematic experience.
