Despite often being trolled on social media — with comments like, “Which number boyfriend is this?” — the 39-year-old actress maintains a positive outlook. In a recent interview, the multi-talented actress shared that she doesn’t take such remarks to heart and views her relationship experiences as steps toward personal growth.

Reflecting on her past, Shruti remarked that everyone has “that one dangerous ex” and emphasized that she closes each chapter of her life without regrets. “When people ask, ‘Which number boyfriend is this?’ they see just a number. For me, it’s the number of times I failed at finding the love I wanted. So no, I don’t feel bad about it — although, being human, sometimes I do feel a little sad,” she candidly admitted. Shruti also mentioned that she wished she hadn't let her relationships influence her as much as they did.

Opening up further, Shruti revealed she has always been loyal and sincere in her relationships, never holding grudges against former partners. However, she expressed regret for unintentionally hurting some of the meaningful people in her life. “I still spend a lot of time apologizing for it,” she added.
