Coimbatore: A Guinness World Record attempt— to create the most translated short film documentary (dubbed) with 15 translations beating the previous record of 11 translations—was made by Chitturi Sai Gunanidhi Prudhvi Rajh. The event was organised by Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Research Centre here.
Prudhvi Rajh attempted to break the previous record of ‘Lepakshi’ with eleven translations, directed by Rajendra Vinod.
Prudhvi Rajh has produced and directed the documentary titled ‘Sarnath – The Sacred place’ with fifteen translations.
The documentary is about the ‘Dhamek Stupa’ in Sarnath, Uttar Pradesh. The translations were made in English, Malayalam, Gujarati, Urdu and Hindi.
Dr. Subramonian, chief scientific officer, Dr. A.P. J. Abdul Kalam Research Centre and former Guinness World Record Holder in Online Teaching, said that the primary objective of this world record is to bring to limelight the historical monuments in India. He coordinated the record attempt.
