Shafeeq Rahman is scaling new heights in entertainment industry

Mohammed Shafeeq Ur Rahman is trying to make a difference. Mr. Rahman has generated lots of exciting opportunities for the youth who want to make it big in the entertainment industry. Mr. Rahman is the owner of the The Star Life Hyderabad. TSL Hyderabad is a platform that can be utilised by aspiring fashionistas to showcase their talents to the world at large. It provides a launchpad, exposure, proper grooming, and a stage to perform on.
Besides, Mr. Rahman is also the editor-in-chief of the City Hi Life Magazine. His story began in the City of Pearls. He studies commerce and completed his graduation from the reputed Osmania University. He then went on to do an MBA from the Indian Institute of Planning and Management (IIPM).
However, his genuine interest lay in the field of fashion, lifestyle and entertainment, and it was not long before his talents started to take him places. Mr. Rahman ended up becoming a regular on the beauty pageant circuit. Soon, he attended more than a hundred fashion beauty pageants in the capacity of a judge and also chief guest. During such events, he has also worked with celebrities like Rannvijay Singh (MTV Roadies fame) and Prince Narula (Big Boss fame).
Soon he conceptualised his brainchild, called The Start Life. It is till date one of the most famous entertainment companies. The company made a name for itself by organising many beauty pageants, fashion photoshoots with well-known celebrities, models, and fashion figures.
Through the company, Mr. Rahman works to promote fresh faces and talents in the fashion and entertainment world. It is his core belief that when given the right opportunity and exposure, new talent can flourish. Without the right guidance and advice at the initial stage, even the most talented ones can lose their way, he says.
With this guiding philosophy, Mr. Rahman has been the organiser behind marquee events such as Mr. & Miss Super Model Hunt India 2014-19, Mr. & Miss Telangana 2014-19, Mr. & Miss Top Model India 2014-19, South India Fashion Designer Hunt 2014-19, City Hi-Life Fashion week 2014-19, Star-Life Fashion week 2019, India Design Week 2019, Lucknow Fashion Week 2019.
He also plans to venture into the Lakme Fashion Week and FBB Mr. India, to further develop core expertise and depth in the industry.
