Bengaluru: A laugh riot, courtesy stand-up comedian Zakir Khan
BENGALURU: Bengalureans witnessed an evening full of endless laughter, belly aches and humour-filled punches as the loud and witty Zakir Khan performed live in the city on Saturday.
Organised as part of the 9 city stand-up comedy tour by Red Live, it was a full house. With an impeccable comic timing, sharp wit and keen insight on human nature, Zakir kept rolling out punch lines.
After successful shows in Delhi and Bengaluru, he is set to perform in Indore, Bhubaneshwar, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bhopal, Pune and Lucknow. Zakir is a stand-up comedian, writer, and presenter, who rose to popularity in 2012 after winning Comedy Central's India’s Best Stand-Up Comedian competition.
He has also been a part of a news comedy show On Air with AIB. A writer by profession, he calls himself the ‘Confused Desi’ and has content centred around modern India.
