Are you an aspiring actor who is looking for a space to horn your skills? Then, head to Now on stage: Comprehensive acting workshop to be held at The Reading Room on September 21. The interactive session to be led by professionally trained screen and stage actors Suriya S. Kumar and Sujay Sudarshan intends to help aspiring actors who are passionate but find it difficult to channelise it, come out of their shell of fear.
It will also serve as a platform to discuss the craft and share the participants’ knowledge about the art with fellow members. With visual aid and demos, participants will be able to answer even trivial questions like ‘What are the hand movements’ to the deep dissection of the psyche of a character. The session will be curated by Siva Sai, who has assisted director Priyadarsan in the upcoming magnum opus Marakkar.
