Dancers perform at Shilparamam
Dance enthusiasts in Hyderabad were spoilt for choice over the weekend as they had the option of attending two dance events that were organised in the city. The 2nd Banshi Dance Festival took place in Shilparamam, over two days, and brought to the city classical dance performances from all around the country. The dances included Kathak, Rabindra Nritya Natya and Bharatanatyam amongst others.
Performance at Saptaparni
Meanwhile, in Saptaparni, the inauguration of a new dance resource centre, Natya Mitram, took place in a grand manner. Eminent artistes performed classical dances, before which a talk on Dance Research and Education was given.
