Actor Mahesh Babu, who is known to take his own sweet time when it comes to working on films, is now speeding up. After quickly moving on to director Koratala Siva’s Bharath Ane Nenu after SPYder, he is set to do the same after the ongoing project finishes. The film, to be directed by Vamshi Paidipally, will mark his milestone 25th project. It will go on floors towards the end of April.
The actor-director duo have zeroed in on a light-hearted drama, a major portion of which will be shot in the US. Mahesh seems keen to explore a new genre after having worked on an action film like SPYder and a political drama like Bharat Ane Nenu.
The entire cast and crew of the film is in place with P.S. Vinod being roped in for camera work and Devi Sri Prasad set to score the tunes. Pooja Hegde will play the female lead.
To be bankrolled by Dil Raju and Ashwini Dutt, the team has been doing extensive pre-production with some of the music scoring said to be complete too. The team is aiming for a release during Dasara 2018.
