Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce Elections on December 28?
For the last few months, members have been divided over continuing the tenure of the existing body or holding new elections.

After a few months' delay, the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce elections are going to be held on December 28.
"The elections are meant to elect a new body to run the apex body," says a source. With some members deciding to hold a general body meeting, the president, Bharat Bhushan, called for elections. "Even the general body meeting scheduled for November 26 was meant to discuss the elections, but the existing body declared elections and nullified those plans," adds the source.
For the last few months, members have been divided over continuing the tenure of the existing body or holding new elections. "The existing body claimed that a lot of key issues were pending and only senior members could tackle the issues with better understanding," adds the source.
Meanwhile, the rival group claimed that continuing the tenure was illegal and demanded elections on July 31. "With more members seeking elections over an extension, the body announced elections and this ended a heated debate in the industry," he points out.
