Reigning star Allu Arjun claimed that Telugu films are slowly gaining recognition across the world and he is quite elated about it. “Slowly but surely Telugu movies are gaining ground world over and I am excited about it,“ says Allu Arjun who also heaped praises on Telugu directors for making this happen. ‘Directors are giving their best to raise the bar on Telugu cinema and it is winning appreciation all over’ he adds.
The 'Pushpa’ star was addressing the gathering at an event in Hyderabad to mark Director’s Day celebrations. “Celebrating legendary Dasari Narayana Rao garu birthday day as director’s day is very unique and laudable. I have lot of memories about ace filmmaker Dasari Narayna Rao garu who launched our banner ‘Geeta Arts’ and it still rocking in Tollywood. I have personal connection with the great filmmaker,’ he informs. He also praised Telugu directors association members for conducting this grand event. “Without any monetary benefits, these directors toiled hard and made this event remarkable. Actually, directors are quite busy with their films, but they spared some time for this celebrations which is laudable,” he points out.
He urged technicians in other 24- crafts to work out a plan to celebrate their varied unions since without their cooperation; it would be difficult to make a film.
