Currently, auditions for Bigg Boss Telugu Season 10 are underway under the pre-show banner Agnipariksha, where several social media influencers have been called to participate. Actors Navdeep, Bindu, and Abhijeet are serving on the judging panel to evaluate the candidates.
Social media influencer Uppal Balu, who dreamt of participating in the reality show, went through the audition process. Unfortunately, he was rejected. Following his elimination, Uppal Balu posted a video alleging that actor Navdeep humiliated him both personally and mentally, questioning his suitability for the show. Balu's accusations against Navdeep quickly gained attention and sparked widespread discussions online.
Responding to Uppal Balu's accusations, Navdeep urged all applicants to take the audition process in good spirit and not feel hurt if they are rejected. He clarified that Agnipariksha is specifically designed to test whether contestants can handle immense pressure, criticism, and negativity. He added that pushing contestants emotionally is an essential part of the evaluation process and a responsibility assigned to the judges.
Navdeep further stated that all line of questioning and selection criteria are based on parameters set by the show's format. Defending the process, he compared the criticism to expecting a horror film not to be scary.
