Lord Ram aka Arun Govil watches Ramayan with his kids, pic viral

When one tries to imagine Lord Ram, they invoke Arun Govil's smiling face from Ramanand Sagar's 'Ramayana'.

The epic show, which also featured Deepika Chikhalia as Goddess Sita, started its yet another telecast on Doordarshan on Saturday.

Its return comes at a time when the whole country is under the 21-day lockdown to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Doordarshan made the announcement amid the lockdown, to keep the public entertained by bringing its iconic shows like 'Ramayana', 'Mahabharat', 'Circus' and 'Byomkesh Bakshi' back to the TV screen.

The news came in as a breath of fresh air in difficult times like this and made many people happy about it.

Social media was buzzing with the news and pictures and people were seen sharing their nostalgic experiences of watching the shows in the 80's.

Recently a picture of actor Arun Govil who essayed the role of Lord Ram was getting lot of attention on social media.

In the picture the actor is seen watching his show on TV with his family.

With these shows coming back, the public has been demanding for other iconic shows like 'Shaktimaan', 'Fauji' etc to make a come back.

Well, the lockdown hasn't been that bad with these shows making a coming back!
