Surveen Chawla is never going to Bigg Boss
Surveen Chawla, who is still basking in the glory of her reviews for Parched, is not looking to make a comeback on telly with one of its most popular shows, Bigg Boss. The actress, who started her career with small screen’s Kahin Toh Hoga, and later went on to do Kasautii Zindagi Kay and Kajjal, says the channel is wasting its time making her an offer to be on the show for six consecutive years.
“I’ve got calls from the show for the past six years and I’ve turned them all down. I’ve told the production house not to waste any more time on me as I’m never going to say “yes”. I’m not someone who likes to be in a negative environment. Besides, the show has too much politics and no privacy,” she says.
The actress doesn’t seem to think of it as a strong launch pad either. “Sunny Leone’s big ticket (into Bollywood) was not because she was on the show, it was because of her fascinating background , which is very sad. Look at the past record of the other contestants. Where are they standing after doing the show? No one has really made a mark,” she says.
